Leo (Sign of Love, #1)

Leo (Sign of Love, #1) - Mia Sheridan 3 stars

My first by Mia Sheridan and it's her debut novel.

Liked the first few chapters. They are heartbreaking, figuratively killing me. I must say, those chapters held the most intense moments and it has been awhile since my last read with similar intensity. Emotional drained, too and was close to bolt. You see, if I did bolt, I don't think I ever want to pick it again and continue to read. I'm glad I didn't!

The story is overwhelming too. Things also happened in fast pace with not normal situations. Too crazy, no slowing down, and pretty much messed with my head.

Characters are okay, I guess. Since the story is told in first person mode except the later part. I liked being in Mia's head. Her thoughts always positive, very matured. Whilst Leo's a broken and possessive man. I wish I knew Leo's thoughts though. Those flashbacks, they are brilliant! I liked reading them because I got to know about Evie and Leo's relationship then. Their present is fine too. So many sizzling are about.

Anyway, I'm glad I did not run from this book. Because I got what I wanted from it in the end. Book 2 is coming soon. Hope it's good.

Read on your own peril.

Note: According to sources, this book is New Adult genre but to me, it is not. So, I will put it in Adult shelf. Happy reading!
