Lost and Found
4 starsIt was my first read by Nicole Williams. I liked the writing style and I especially liked the directness. Lost and Found was a wonderful story. It was so damn good read.
I fell in love with the main characters. I loved Rowen because she was a total different from other heroines I've ever read. Since it was her POV, it was heartbreaking when I got to know her as the story went by. She had thoughts about herself that made me sad. Thoughts like she was so broken at point she embraced pain and afraid to be happy. That was sad to me.
It changed when she met Jesse and his family. They made her felt loved and happy. Jesse is a sweet, kind, loving and caring man. Everything about his is positive so it was unbelievable because in the real world, his type is rare. Very rare. Perhaps it doesn't exist or might have extinct. And Jesse's family, they are so nice!
I loved secondary characters too especially Garth. Garth didn't give a good impression the first he made appearance in a book. Instead of hating him, I found he was intriguing. He gave this bad vibe to people but I believe something had happened that made him acting so. And I found out he has his own book, I can't wait to find out!
Every morning we get a chance to be different. A chance to change. A chance to be better. Your past is your past. Leave it there. Get on with the future part, honey.”
