The Husband's Secret

The Husband's Secret - Liane Moriarty 5 stars

I finished it. What a relief! It was quite emotional rollercoaster, trust me. You have to prepare mentally and emotionally if you've decided to read The Husband's Secret. I think you have to have box of tissues nearby unless you're me.

It's bittersweet, this book. I loved it because the plotline was amazing and the writing was brilliant. At the same time, I hated it too because of the heavy and intense feelings I'd experience from reading it -- betrayal, truths, lies, tragedy, anger, resentment, guilt, sorrow etc you named it, the all negative feelings.

Just so you know, this book held stories and each story has its own main character. These characters are interconnected with one another it's important you must not miss anything. Don't even think about skimming because it's too crucial to be missed. It also comprised of both present and past situations. And it all began with one letter. One letter that changed the course of many lives.

The reason I picked this book because the title got my attention. I knew from the title itself, this book is heavy and daunting. And yet I devoured it because I couldn't help from being curious. Beside, the blurb was interesting too! Hence, I see no reason why I shouldn't go for it.

Highly recommended.
