I loved this book! It made me smile a lot. It made my gut wrenched sometimes. It made awed too. It made me infuriating. Good feelings, mostly. Way awesome.

The plotline was great. I enjoyed it immensely. It gave me thrill and it's exactly my kind of thing. The surge of adrenaline rush is definitely a pure ecstasy. Yowza!

The romance was intense and I loved the conversations between main couple. Christina is so romantic, affectionate, and passionate and it was killing me she didn't get them in return because Tor, her dearest handsome hot husband that she loved, was an idiot! Total idiot, indeed.

Yeah, although I loved almost everything about The Chief... the ending wasn't to my liking. It was so cheesy and I laughed out loud at that! Consider this book is lucky because I won't let that small part - despite its importance - change my rating.

I love hunky Highlanders. I'm so going to do a reading marathon on this series. Can't wait!

Highly recommended. Especially to historical romance lovers.
