Lean on Me (The Holloway Series)

Lean on Me - HelenKay Dimon 3 stars

Okay, I didn't exactly enjoying the story. I did skimming a lot. However, there were some parts that I truly did enjoy. Like when Cassidy had no place to stay, stayed at Mitch and his friends' nursery without permission but for guilt purpose, she offered help which the guys were clueless where it came from. Then, at one part where Cassidy was restless she climbed the roof do cleaning and Mitch nearly had frostbite as he wore nothing but boxer brief. Loved Cassidy for being brave, strong, and fearless. Despite his short temper and being an idiot at one part, Mitch is sweet, caring and overprotective. Their romance was mild, fine by me but the plot line wasn't that interesting.

I do know nosy people exist but to have the whole damn town knows how many times you pee, that way, way out of line. Yes, that one may be a metaphor but the message was very clear, people at the town was so nosy, busybody to the point of ridiculous. One single faux gossip could ruin you entirely. As scary as it may sound, the only way to handle this kind of situation is to just ignore, asked them to back off and stay strong. Well, do so if there is such town like ones in this book.

That is all and I am scared to read Book 3. Hmmm, how now?

Read on your own peril.
