The Marriage Bargain
5+ starsWhat a beautiful story and I just couldn't put it down.
Nick believes love doesn't exist. He keeps himself away from attachment and fondness for he doesn't wish to get hurt. It's because he hurt enough already what with things happened to her parents. That was then until he got married to his childhood friend, Alexa. And, it's a fake marriage or it was - before the two fall for each other and fell hard!
It was funny to read that Alexa and Nick tried their hardest to void any attraction to each other when the obvious is that the chemistry exists between them. My favourite with this book is that regardless with their arguments to each other, they started to grow fond, can't-live without, care, passionate and love with one another. I couldn't stop sighing and wished their relationship would work. In fact, it did and I'm glad, happy.
P.S. I like the last scene - I'm talking about the weather - Its winter, snowy, blizzard and white Christmas. Nothing is beautiful than love blooms on month of Christmas. To be truthful, its months away but I can't wait for Christmas.
Highly recommended.
