It Had to Be You
Lately I've been on sports romance vibe and I still am. So I picked this one. I wasn't fond with this book at first but started to like it as I read further.I enjoyed the main characters. Phoebe, the heroine and owner of Stars football team, is kind of annoying but I found that I like her. She's nice, funny, brave, loving, and caring. I liked best her "think naked" part. It made me laughed out loud.
Dan, the hero and Stars' coach, is quite annoying. Lot more annoying than Phoebe because he is so crabby. There's this one idea of his that I think it's completely insane.'" I disliked Dan and the only thing I liked about him is that he'll do anything for Phoebe's safety. Even if it involves with violence.
Anyway, secondary characters are great too. I enjoyed reading them.
As for romance, the chemistry is there but not that powerful. I enjoyed hero and heroine's banter. Mild on hot scenes which is still nice and easy to read. Got mild BDSM on very small part and it's manageable.
I'm not a football fan but still it didn't stop me from experiencing the thrill. I loved the climax part. Such a pure adrenaline.
