the little bookish

The story was good and some parts were dull. Romance was good. I liked sparks of chemistry between the two but it’s just that I felt emotional involvement had been too fast. Ryder claimed Jessie as his wife far too quickly. I saluted Ryder for his determination to change his addiction from opium to his wife. I liked Jessie because of her trust and faith.

The thing is the book has little plot and I was expecting more. Hence, the reason it lost one star. Overall, it’s a good book for those who seeking easy reading.
